After the completion of Round 11 and with 2 more rounds left to lower your gross and net scores, there was some movement at the top of leaderboard with Ross Wills (28.060) reassuming the lead with an improvement in his net score of 1.860 to 45.940, with Peter Marsh (33.490) improving to second on 47.510, ahead of Joseph Reeves (43.300) who drops down into third place on 47.700, a margin of 0.190 from second. With Jonathan Kemp (17.144) holding onto fourth position on 49.856 and Gordon McCoy (23.700) in fifth on 51.300. Some of the biggest movers amongst the other players after the round were Graham Free (8.576) up 8 places to eighth, Richie Maguire (8.730) up 8 places to fifteenth and Angus Tucker (5.922) moves up an impressive 26 places to seventeenth after recording an eagle on Hole # 14 and 4 birdies on the front 9.
There were 16 birdies or better recorded last week bringing the field total to 189, with the highlights being the excellent sub 80 rounds carded by Mal Ashton (9.4) which included 4 birdies on the front 9, Graham Free (8.5) both with scores of 74 and Angus Tucker (6.5) with a 75.
There was one eagle carded by the field after the eleventh round, with Angus Tucker attaining the feat, bringing the total standing at 7.
In the birdies or better statistics, we now have Angus Tucker (6.5) leading with a tally of 2 eagles and 8 birdies, followed closely by Graham Free (8.5) with 11 birdies, then followed by Richard Maguire (9.9), Spencer Wicks (4.1) and Ram Thapa (9.5) with 10 birdies each.
There are 42 (93.33%) players so far, to have to registered bogey or better on every hole.
The hardest ranked holes determined by the numbers of birdies or better carded after Round 11, are Holes # 11 and 18 with only two birdies recorded, followed by Hole # 9 with 5 birdies then Hole # 15 with 6 birdies. The easiest hole has been Hole # 1 with 26 birdies or better by different players. The next easiest are Hole # 17 with 16 birdies each by different players. This is followed by Hole # 14 with 15 birdies.
