o Congratulations: 저희 코링가는the Metro A competition에서 올해 다시한번 이겼습니다. 이 결과로 코링가는 Waimakarri Gorge 를 상대로the Richards’s Trophy 를 놓고 7월 초에 경기를 하게 되었습니다.
o Women: The LGU 경기(6워8일)는 날씨 관계로 취소되고 6월 22일에 예정 되어있습니다.
o Juniors: 쥬니어 코칭은 매주 일요일 진행 됩니다. (11am -12noon) 비 회원은 5불이고 회원은 2불입니다.

IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE ALL PLAYERS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE MEMBERS/GROUPS WITH A BOOKING, MEMBERS AND VISITORS MUST REPORT TO THE PROSHOP BEFORE PROCEEDING TO ANY TEE AT ALL TIMES.
FAILURE TO DO THIS COULD RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE COURSE
Coringa Web Page: I would like to draw your attention to the Coringa web page (very ably run by John Banks) http://www.coringagolfclub.co.nz this site is full of great information including results, the shop (specials etc), upcoming events, copies of the Newsletter (in case you’ve missed some). Go have a look.
Golf Shop Positions: There are two job-share positions in the Golf Shop which have now been advertised on ‘Trade-Me Jobs’ (just put Coringa Golf Club into the search criteria). Applications for this position close on June 25th.

o Congratulations: Coringa has won the Metro A competition again this year. As a result of this Coringa will be playing for the Richards’s Trophy against Waimakarri Gorge at the beginning of July (good luck)
o Women: The LGU game (June 8th) cancelled due to weather will now be played on June 22nd
o Juniors: Remember Junior coaching is on Sundays (11am -12noon). $5 non members $2 members

Q: When placing is in play must you mark the position of your ball?
A: Yes, failure to do so will result in a one shot penalty
Q; Must you mark the position of the ball with a tee?
A: No you can use whatever you want (toe of club, loose impediment etc)

첫 번째 코링가 뉴스레터에서 만나 뵙게 된 것을 환영합니다. 뉴스레터를 보내 드리는 목적은 모든 회원 들에게 클럽에서 일어나는 일들을 알리려 하는 것입니다. 다음 번 뉴스레터에 올리고 싶은 것이 있으시면 피오나(Fiona)에게 메일로 mifi.rynne@xtra.co.nz 보내시면 됩니다.
Organised Games: 새로운 회원과 모든 다른 회원들을 위해서 알리는 것은 코링가 에는 주중에 많은 추첨방식의 게임이 준비되어 있습니다. 모든 회원들이 많이 참석하시길 바라고 다른 회원들과 교제 할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 아래에 그룹과 겨울철 시간표가 있습니다. 토요일 경기를 제외하고는 첫번 째 티- 오프 하기 15분전에 도착하셔서 추첨(제비뽑기)에 이름을 넣어 주시기 바랍니다
o Women(여성): 18홀 경기자는 화요일, 목요일, 9홀 경기자의 뒤를 이어 오전 10시 그리고 토요일은 오전9시 에 시작합니다.
o Men(남성): 목요일 그룹은 오전10시, 토요일 매치 경기는 아래를 참고.
o Mixed(혼성): 일요일 오전10-12시. 만약 제비뽑기로 파트너를 원하시면 11시 티-오프를 위하여 오전 10시45분까지 오셔서 카드를 내 주시기 바랍니다. 6월 6일 에는 혼성 매치 플레이 컵 대회가 있습니다. 자신의 혼성 파트너를 정하셔서 남성은 빨강 티, combined stableford 방식으로 8등까지 매치 플레이를 위해 이날 뽑게 됩니다.
o Saturday Match of the Day: 경기 참여를 위하여 코링가 홈페이지의 DotGolf tee booking system또는 프로 샾을 통하여 이름을 추첨에 넣어 주시기 바랍니다. 6월과 7월의 경기는 빨강 티-오프 이고 6월5일 토요일부터 남성들은 2개의 티(1번과 10번)에서 오전8시-8시54 분에 시작하고 두번째 티-오프는 오전11시18분에 합니다. 서리가 일찍 시작 될 것이고 서리가 내린 경우에는 가장 빠른 부킹은 오전8시30분이 되므로 8시30분보다 빠른 시간의 부킹은 잃게 됩니다.
o Club Professional: 저희 클럽은 에이든 베리(Aiden Berry)가 공식적으로 코링가의 Club Head Professional/Director of Coaching 이 된 것을 기쁘게 생각합니다. 에이든은 모든 회원들에게 15분의 무료 코칭을 제안했습니다. 강추 드립니다.
o Golf Shop: 일단은 저희 코링가 골프 클럽에 의해 운영 될 것입니다. 이것은 이곳에서 팔리는 모든 것이 여러분의 클럽의 수입이 된다는 것입니다. 에이든은 클럽, 트런들러 그리고 다른 큰 물품들을 가져다 놓았습니다. (저희 클럽은 판매의 커미션을 받게 됩니다.) 저희 클럽은 작은 물품들 예: 장갑, 볼등… 그러니 우리들의 클럽을 지원하시고 샾에서 여러가지 잡다한 것들을 구입하시고 에이든에게 큰 물품들을 판매할 수 있는 기회를 주시기 바랍니다.
General Business
o Thanks to IGQ: IGQ에서 2층에 클럽을 위해 훌륭한 TV를 구입했습니다. 한가한 시즌에는 IGQ 티칭을 위하여 그리고 그 이외에는 우리가 사용할 수 있지요!!
o Good Luck: Scott Ritchie 가 몇 달 간 영국으로 갑니다. 그곳에 있는 동안 몇 개의 메이저 아마튜어 토나멘트에 참가하기를 바랍니다. 또 그가 좋은 게임을 하길 기원합니다.
o Course News: 6홀의 티 주변, 다리위와 아래주변을 아름답게 가꾸어준 그린스타프들에게 감사합니다. 티 박스는 다음 몇 주 안에 완성될 것입니다.
o Metro A: 일요일에 우승했습니다. 축합니다.
o Congrats: Jamie Howard 씨는 13번 홀에서 홀인원!
CORINGA GOLF CLUB NEWSLETTER – 1/06/10
Hi all
Welcome to the first Coringa Newsletter. The Newsletter is intended to keep everyone up to date with happenings around the club. Any news for future newsletters please send to Fiona at mifi.rynne@xtra.co.nz
Organised Games: For new members (and a reminder to all other members), Coringa has quite a few organised draws during the week. Everyone is more than welcome to join in and this is a great way to meet up with other members. The groups (and the winter start times) are listed below. For all apart from the Sat match of the day please arrive and put your name in the draw 15 mins before the first tee off.
o Women: Tues, Thurs 10am start for 18 holers followed by 9 holers, Sat 9am (18 holers).
o Men: Monday group 9.00am, Thursday group 10am, Saturday Match of the Day (see below)
o Mixed: Sunday 10-12. If you want to be included in the ‘drawn’ partners then get your card in by 10.45 for an 11am start. June 6th is the Mixed Match play Cup. Mixed Pairs (select your own partner) men off the red tees, combined stableford, top 8 qualify for match play.
Saturday Match of the Day: Place your name on the draw either via the DotGolf tee booking system or through the Pro Shop. In June and July the matches will be off the red tees and from Sat 5th June there will be a two tee start for men from 8.00 – 8.54 with a second two tee start from 11.18. Please be aware that frosts will be starting soon and the earliest start time is 8.30, in the event of a frost those booked prior to 8.30 will lose their start time.
Club Professional: Management is delighted to announce that Aiden Berry has formally signed on as the Club Head Professional/Director of Coaching at Coringa. Aiden has offered all members a free 15 min assessment – highly recommended.
Golf Shop: This will be run by Coringa Golf Club for the foreseeable future. This means that YOUR club will receive income from anything sold in the shop. Aiden has stocked the shop with clubs, trundlers and other large items (and the club will receive a commission from these sales). The club itself is selling the smaller items eg gloves, balls etc. So support your club, purchase your sundry items from the shop and give Aiden first option with your larger purchases.
General Business
o Thanks to IGQ: The beautiful new TV upstairs has been purchased for the club by IGQ. In quieter times this will be used to assist in the IGQ teaching, all other times we can all enjoy it!!
o Good Luck: Scott Ritchie is heading to the UK for a few months and while there is hoping to participate in some of the major amateur tournaments. Wishing him good golfing
o Course News: Thanks to the greenstaff for an amazing cleanup under/around the bridge at the 6th tee. It looks amazing. The tee blocks will be cored over the next few weeks
